This is my Uncle's house. For those of you who are bewildered, I can tell you that it was built in the 70's-80's....the intention was very pure- my Uncle Jim was WAY into pyramid power. I remember that he used to climb the stairs on his hands and. He meditated in the top of the structure. He was not the only occupant- some of the decor reflected the style of the time period- it was a normal family home as well as a museum. The family was somewhat along for the ride, but some appreciated the ancient Egyptian magic more than others. I remember hearing my Uncle Jim talking about his dream where he was instructed to build a pyramid. And he did. And then he built a moat and stocked it with fish and had paddle boats and that's how dinner was caught...whatever. The man worked extremely hard building garages and hotels to make his fortune. He realized his dream, and he never hurt a fly. He, and my Dad...I hope I can live up to them. I hope your all can as well. ❤ Be Kind and Generous ❤️

I remember this... You could see the smoke for miles... This and old Arlington Park roughly two years before were both amongst the largest fires in the Chitown Area...

I remember the column of smoke was really high and easy to see from most of Chicago because it was such a clear day.

I live about 45 minutes to this place. If anyone remembers the television show called 'Wild Chicago', they did a segment with owners of that house/structure? Anyway, the grand tour of the place nothing to what's 'Wild Chicago' did. They went in deep and visited the other structures. That giant egyptian used to scare the hell outta me as a small child. This is definitely made with a person certain taste. On the show they showed a moat with gorgeous clean very clear. Not sure what state it is in now but I would like to see it again one day as I still live the same amount of distance from there, I just have not been by there ever since I stopped going to the theme in 2005 Gurnee IL '6-Flags Great America'. You know, the one with the cringe old man dancing to techno or some form of it. Till this day, I'm convinced that the old Great America man that dance is in those commercials is actually a female in drag for the commercial it just seems like if you look very very closely. Am I the only one who finds that old man extremely annoying? and my only one who thinks that the old man might be a woman in prosthetics and makeup?
